OEM & PRIVATE-LABEL TRACKSUIT PRODUCTION
Custom Tracksuit Manufacturer
Develop matching custom tracksuit sets for streetwear, sportswear, athleisure, fitness, teams and private-label collections with control over fabric, GSM, jacket and pant fit, panels, zippers, pockets, cuffs, drawcords, embroidery, printing, sublimation, labels and packaging.

Custom Tracksuit Manufacturing for Clothing & Sportswear Brands
Stitch Expo develops custom tracksuits as coordinated sets rather than treating the jacket and pants as unrelated garments. Fabric hand feel, colour, panel lines, zipper tape, piping, rib, drawcords, artwork placement and fit should work together across both pieces.
Tracksuits can be developed for streetwear drops, sports warm-ups, gym and fitness collections, athleisure, teamwear, travel sets, combat-sport walkout apparel, clubs and private-label retail collections. Development can begin from a tech pack, sketch, reference garment, measurement chart or detailed images.
The specification should reflect the intended use. A heavyweight fleece streetwear set needs different fabric, fit and construction from a lightweight polyester warm-up suit or fully sublimated team tracksuit. Sampling is used to approve the top and bottom together before bulk production.

Tracksuit Fabrics & GSM: French Terry, Fleece, Tricot, Polyester & Stretch
Fabric selection controls warmth, drape, stretch, breathability and surface appearance. GSM is useful for knitted tracksuit fabrics, but quality cannot be judged by GSM alone; yarn, knit structure, fibre composition, finishing, recovery and shrinkage also matter.
| Fabric | Character | Use | Development Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| French terry | Loop-back, comfortable | Streetwear/lifestyle | GSM, shrinkage, hand feel |
| Brushed fleece | Warm, soft interior | Winter/casual | GSM, brushing, pilling |
| Polyester tricot | Smooth athletic surface | Sports/teamwear | Weight, sheen, snag resistance |
| Polyester interlock | Stable smooth knit | Training/sportswear | Recovery, breathability |
| Polyester/elastane | Stretch and mobility | Fitness/performance | Stretch, recovery, opacity |
| Woven polyester/micro-ripstop | Light windbreaker character | Warm-up sets | Coating, lining, print compatibility |
| Velour | Soft pile | Fashion/lifestyle | Pile direction, shade, embroidery |

Matching Tracksuit Jacket & Pants as One Set
A strong tracksuit should read as one product. Jacket and pants should coordinate in fabric lot, colour, trim finish, panel geometry and branding. When contrast panels, piping or stripes continue across the set, their width and placement should be controlled through the approved sample.
Fabric & Colour Match
Coordinate top and bottom shade and hand feel.
Trim Coordination
Align zipper tape, pullers, drawcords, rib and hardware.
Panel Alignment
Control side stripes, piping and contrast-panel proportions.
Brand Placement
Balance chest, sleeve, thigh and leg artwork.
Fit Relationship
Develop top volume and pant silhouette for the same aesthetic.
Private Label Match
Use one consistent label and packaging system.

Tracksuit Jacket & Track Pant Construction
Tracksuit tops can use full zips, quarter zips, pullovers, hoods, stand collars, raglan or set-in sleeves, zipped pockets, rib cuffs and panelled construction. Bottoms can be tapered joggers, straight track pants, relaxed or wide-leg silhouettes with elastic waistbands, internal or external drawcords, zipped or welt pockets, side panels, ankle cuffs, open hems or selected ankle zippers.
Construction should match the fabric. A heavyweight knit set requires different seam, pocket and waistband decisions from a lightweight woven warm-up suit.

Custom Tracksuit Panels, Piping, Stripes & Colour Blocking
Panel engineering can create a recognisable tracksuit without relying only on a logo. Contrast yokes, sleeve inserts, side-leg panels, curved seams, piping and applied stripes can be developed through the pattern. Complex panel designs should be mapped across actual pattern pieces to control seam intersections and the relationship between jacket and pants.

Tracksuit Pattern Making, Fit & Size Grading
Tracksuit fit should be developed as a coordinated top-and-bottom system. Streetwear sets may use a boxy jacket and relaxed or wide-leg pants, while sports tracksuits may use cleaner body proportions and tapered legs. Stretch, fabric weight and layering affect the pattern.
Key measurements include jacket chest, shoulder, sleeve and body length plus pant waist, hip, rise, thigh, inseam and leg opening. After sample approval, both garments are graded into the required size range. Learn more about pattern making in clothing manufacturing.

Embroidery, Printing, Sublimation & Custom Tracksuit Branding
Branding can range from small premium embroidery to full-colour sublimation. Decoration should be selected according to fabric surface, stretch, heat sensitivity, artwork and intended effect.
Flat Embroidery
Chest, sleeve, thigh and selected back branding.
3D / Puff Embroidery
Raised logos where artwork and fabric support the stitch density.
Screen Printing
Bold graphics after confirming ink and fabric compatibility.
DTF / Heat Transfer
Detailed multi-colour artwork on compatible fabrics.
Sublimation
Full-colour artwork on suitable polyester fabrics or panels.
Patches & Appliqué
Woven, embroidered, chenille, rubber/silicone-style and fabric applications.

Sublimated Tracksuit Manufacturing
Sublimation is useful for polyester tracksuits requiring gradients, complex graphics, repeated patterns or artwork integrated into panels. Artwork is prepared for the garment pattern, transferred to compatible polyester fabric, then cut and assembled.
Sublimation is not universal for every fabric. Cotton-rich French terry and fleece normally require other decoration methods for conventional production.

Private Label Tracksuit Manufacturing
Tracksuits can be completed as fully private-label products with woven main labels, size labels, care/composition labels, woven tabs, custom drawcord and aglet directions, branded zipper-pull directions where feasible, hang tags, size stickers, protective bags and retail or bulk packaging.
Labels should reflect actual fibre composition and care requirements. See our custom clothing labels and packaging guide.

Tracksuit Quality Control: Checking the Complete Set
QC should check both individual garment quality and the relationship between jacket and pants: fabric shade, hand feel, measurements, panel symmetry, stripe width, zipper operation, pocket position, waistband elasticity, drawcords, cuffs, leg openings, seams, artwork, labels and packaging. The top and bottom should also be reviewed together for colour consistency, trim coordination and visual balance.
